TD All-Inclusive Banking Plan

Our take: TD’s top-tier chequing plan bundles unlimited transactions, no TD ATM fees anywhere in the world, and an annual fee rebate on select TD credit cards — but at $30.95 a month, it only pays off if you can keep $6,000 in the account to get the fee waived, or genuinely use the bundled perks.

TD’s All-Inclusive Banking Plan is built for people who want to stop thinking about transaction limits and ATM fees entirely. Unlimited transactions, no TD fees at any ATM in the world, and a rebate on one of six TD credit cards’ annual fees are the headline perks — but the $30.95 monthly fee is real unless you keep $6,000 in the account every single day of the month. This is a review of the plan on its own merits, not a recommendation that everyone needs it.

MoneyMint · Real annual cost
$144a year, if you use the balance waiver

The $6,000 waiver does not make this account free. It changes what it costs from $371 a year to about $144 — because that $6,000 earns nothing sitting in a chequing account.

Pay the fee$371.40$30.95 × 12 months
Or hold $6,000$144.00Interest that $6,000 would earn at 2.40% elsewhere
Real annual cost$144.00The cheaper of the two

The waiver is the better of the two options here. You would need to tie up close to $15,475 before paying the $30.95 outright became cheaper. But it is not the same as a free account.

There is a third option this comparison makes visible: a chequing account with no monthly fee at all, with the $6,000 kept in savings instead. That costs nothing and earns the $144.

Which is right depends on whether you would keep that $6,000 idle anyway. If it is a buffer you never touch and never intended to invest, the waiver costs you little in practice. If you are stretching to hit the minimum, or that money could be working, the real cost is the full $144 — and a no-fee account is the better answer. See our chequing account ranking and best high-interest savings rates.

Real annual cost is the lower of the annual fee and the interest given up on the balance needed to waive it. The 2.40% comparison rate is the highest rate available with no conditions among the savings accounts we track, checked September 17, 2026. Run your own numbers →

The $6,000 balance needed to waive the $30.95 fee has to be there at the end of every single day of the month, not just on average — dip below it even once and the fee applies for that month. If you can’t reliably hold that balance, the account effectively costs $371.40 a year before you factor in any of its other perks. Verified against td.com on September 17, 2026.

Pros & Cons

Pros

  • Truly unlimited transactions with no per-transaction fees
  • No TD fees at non-TD ATMs in Canada or at foreign ATMs anywhere in the world
  • Annual fee rebate on one of six select TD credit cards
  • Free small safety deposit box, money orders and personalized cheques
  • A $3 USD monthly discount on the Borderless Plan (TD’s U.S. dollar account) if held alongside it
  • Free Interac e-Transfers

Cons

  • $30.95 monthly fee is one of the highest among TD’s chequing accounts if you can’t maintain the $6,000 balance
  • The $6,000 minimum must be held at the end of every single day of the month to waive the fee — not an average balance
  • Non-TD ATM and foreign ATM ATMs may still charge their own fee even though TD waives its own
  • The credit card annual fee rebate applies to only one of six specific TD cards, not any card you choose
  • The current welcome offer expires November 2, 2026 and terms apply

Who It’s For

Best For

  • People who reliably keep $6,000 or more in their chequing account and would otherwise pay for transactions anyway
  • Frequent travellers who want to avoid TD’s own ATM fees anywhere in the world
  • TD credit card holders who can use the annual fee rebate on an eligible card to offset part of the monthly cost

Not For

  • Anyone who can’t consistently hold $6,000 in the account, since the fee applies in full for any day it dips below
  • Light bankers who don’t need unlimited transactions or premium perks like a safety deposit box
  • Anyone comparing purely on monthly cost against no-fee digital accounts like Simplii or Tangerine
